Join our host Jodi as she explores the wonders of crocheting with natural fibers and more. We will crochet with cotton and also will make a felted dryer ball for you to take home. This will be a Saturday afternoon event ($30/person includes materials costs and lessons on crocheting) but there is the option for out of towners to also stay for the weekend.
We have 3 bedrooms available for this event each accommodating either a single person or a couple. The two bathrooms (one upstairs and one downstairs) are shared. $200/bedroom for the weekend includes the crochet lessons and plenty of time to wander around and enjoy the area between check-in on Friday and check out on Sunday.
Please book your space through Square and we will share further details with you after booking.

Details on class:
Participants will learn how to hold the crochet hook, slip knots, chaining, single crochet, double crochet, and crocheting in the round using the center chain-4 method. Instructions for how to read crochet pattern notation will also be taught. 50 yards of natural fiber yarn will be provided for the class. While working on the craft, the presenter will share a history of crochet, how the craft is practiced today around the world, and information about different types of yarn!
Students will have an opportunity to return in April for a second class to re-learn any forgotten aspects of crocheting, ask questions that have developed over the month, and have time to work on projects as a group.
